The Route and Length of the Metro

Recently the Haryana Government has approved a proposal to establish a Mass Rapid Transportation System between Bawal and Gurgaon. The length of this metro line is expected to be nearly 82 kilometers; it will extend from HUDA City Center metro station in Gurgaon towards Bewal in Rewari. One the way to Rewari this metro line will pass through the Industrial Model Township in Manesar. Luxury apartments in Gurgaon near the HUDA City Center metro station will rise in value once this metro line is completed.  In the first phase, an elevated line shall be built from HUDA City Center metro station towards Panchgaon Chowk, a locality on NH8 and near Manesar. In the second phase of this metro line, Panchgaon Chowk shall be connected with Bawal Industrial Area. The traffic snarls and growing population have made commuting difficult for nearly 80,000 vehicles that travel from Delhi to Manesar everyday, the new metro line is expected to greatly ease the commute for travelers from Delhi to Manesar.

Once completed, the impact of the new metro line upon residential property in Gurgaon is expected to be significant. Already the commute by road between Gurgaon and Delhi is difficult due to traffic congestion, one the metro is up and running many of those who commute to Manesar from Delhi by road will use the metro and this will ease the commute by road between Delhi and Manesar.
